NEW YORK: Investors in US-based mutual funds committed $1.3 billion to bond funds in the latest week, marking the first inflows into the funds since July, data from the Investment Company Institute showed on Wednesday.
The inflows into bond funds in the week ended September 25 were the first since the week ended July 24, data from ICI, a US mutual fund trade organization, showed.
Stock funds had outflows of $3.6 billion in the latest week, marking the biggest outflows from the funds since the week ended May 1, the data showed.
