LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Monday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 10.59 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4713.05 and closed at 4723.64 points.
The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 1.796 million shares to close against previous turnover of 3.180 million shares, showing an upward move of 1.384 million shares. While, out of the total 89 active scrips, 14 moved up, 49 remained equal with 26 shed values.
Muslim Commercial Bank Limited, Shifa International Hospital Limited and Habib Bank Limited were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 8, Rs 3.70 and Rs 1.46, respectively.
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Engro Corporation Limited and Dynea Pakistan Limited lost their per share value by Rs 3, Rs 2.51 and Re 0.79 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included Byco Petroleum Pakistan with 388,000 shares, The Bank of Punjab Limited with 312,000 shares and NIB Bank Limited with 278,000 shares.
