LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Monday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 23 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4660.53 and closed at 4683.53 points. The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 4.540 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.989 million shares, showing an upward move of 1.551 million shares.
While, out of the total 88 active scrips, 25 moved up, 33 remained equal with 30 shed values.
Muslim Commercial Bank Limited, United Bank Limited and Allied Bank Limited were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 10.04, Rs 5.87 and Rs 3.00 respectively.
Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Pakistan State Oil Company Limited and Engro Foods Limited lost their per share value by Rs 8.15, Rs 6.77 and Rs 4.78 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 1.502 million shares, NIB Bank Limited with 655,500 shares and Fauji Cement Company Limited with 379,500 shares.
