Brazil central bank to call reverse swap auction

BRAZIL-BANK_400 SAO PAULO: Brazil's central bank said on Thursday it would hold a reverse swap auction later in the session, in an effort to curb the currency's appreciation.

The real reversed its early gains after the announcement, trading flat at 1.669 per dollar on the local market.
