LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 150.73 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4782.90 and closed at 4933.63 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 4.003 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.011 million shares, showing an upward move of 1.991 million shares. While, out of the total 97 active scrips, 44 moved up, 50 remained equal with 3 shed values.
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Attock Refinery Limited and Pakistan Petroleum Limited were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 15.10, Rs 12.06 and Rs 6.00 respectively.
D.G.Khan Cement Company, Southern Electric Power Company and Dewan Cement Limited lost their per share value by Rs 1.70, Re 0.15 and Re 0.10, respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included NIB Bank Limited with 1.153 million shares.The Bank of Punjab Limited with 835,000 shares and Faysal Bank Limited with 391,000 shares.
