LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 29.27 points as LSE-25 Index opened with 4954.24 and closed at 4983.51 points.
The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 3.567 million shares to close against previous turnover of 4.306 million shares, showing a downward move of 738,500 shares. While, out of the total 100 active scrips, 28 moved up, 47 remained equal with 25 shed values.
Highnoon Laboratories Limited, National Bank of Pakistan and Attock Refinery Limited were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 5.11, Rs 2.62 and Rs 2.37 respectively.
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Engro Corporation Limited and The Hub Power Company Limited lost their per share value by Rs 6.00, Rs 5.09 and Rs 3.48 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included Pakistan International Airline with 542,000 shares, Faysal Bank Limited with 533,500 shares and Byco Petroleum Pakistan with 401,000 shares.
