imagePESHAWAR: Low level floods were recorded in most of the rivers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday as rain spell continued to hit upper parts of the province causing a surge in river waters. According to the Flood Warning Cell, River Kabul was in low flood at Warsak, where water discharge was recorded as 39810 cusecs while at Nowshera the total discharge of the River Kabul water was 58700 cusecs.

Similarly, the river Sindh was also in lower flood as the water level at Khairabad was recorded as 240200 cusecs.

Low flood was also observed in river Panjkora at Dir and river Swat at Charsaddha.

An official of Flood Warning Cell informed that water levels in all other rivers of Khyber Pakthunkhwa were observed normal with no threat of floods.
