LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 110.42 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4510.50 and closed at 4620.92 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 3.966 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.771 million shares, showing an upward move of 1.194 million shares.
While, out of the total 101 active scrips, 48 moved up, 46 remained equal with only 7 shed values.
Engro Corporation Limited, IGI Insurance Limited and Muslim Commercial Bank Limited were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 6.05, Rs 5.60 and Rs 4.95 respectively.
Habib Insurance Company, Faysal Bank Limited and Japan Power Generation Limited lost their per share value by Re 0.25, Re 0.15 and Re 0.08 respectively.
The volume leader of the day included NIB Bank Limited with 870,000 shares, Fauji Cement Company Limited with 589,500 shares and Karachi Electric Supply Company with 370,500 shares.
