KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) bench mark-100 index dropped by 107.77 points to close at 21002.57 points on Wednesday.
KSE-30 index also dropped by 113.08 points to close at 17197.57 points.
Out of total 346 active scrips, 159 moved up while 160 shed values and 27 remained unchanged.
Significant increase of Rs 85 was recorded in the stocks of Colgate to close at Rs 1835 while the Attock Petroleum increased by Rs 17.92 to close at Rs 557.72.
Wyeth Pak Ltd and MCB Bank lost their per share value by Rs 19.50 to close at Rs 1600.50 and Rs 11.64 to close at Rs 211.43 respectively.
Highest trading of 19973500 shares was recorded in PTCL. Total market turnover remained at 203247510 as compared to 211327060 shares.
