Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman bumped into her ex-boyfriend Lenny Kravitz backstage at the CMT music awards in Nashville, Tennessee. But always in form, she managed to successfully turn a potentially uncomfortable situation into a sweet moment.
Nicole Kidman arrived on the arm of her husband, Country music singer Keith Urban. Instead of creating an awkward situation, the trio smiled at each other, hugged and even posed for photos together at the Nashville event.
Following her highly publicized divorce from Tom Cruise, Kidman and Kravitz had a brief, but reportedly serious romance in the summer of 2003 to 2004. Allegedly the multi-talented Rock guru even reportedly wrote the song "Lady" as a tribute to the actress.
Hosted by Blake Shelton and ‘House of Lies’ actress Kristen Bell, the CMT Awards saw a host of performers including Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, Hunter Hayes and Florida Georgia Line, while Jason Aldean and Lenny Kravitz teamed up for an unlikely duet.
Three-time Golden Globe winner Kidman will next be seen in ‘Anchorman: The Legend Continues’ starring opposite Will Ferrell. Kidman will also star in the biopic ‘Grace of Monaco,’ which is slated for release on December 27. She reportedly beat out Jessica Chastain, Charlize Theron, Reese Witherspoon and Gwyneth Paltrow for the coveted role of Oscar winner-turned-Princess Grace Kelly.
