KARACHI: Gold jumped by Rs 200 to reach record high at Rs 47,500 per 11.664 grams (one Tola) in local bullion market Wednesday, as its international price also climbed to $ 1,508 an ounce, market sources said.
A leading bullion dealer said that 10 grams price went up by Rs 172 to Rs 40,714.
Silver also surged to peak at Rs 1,371.14 per 10 grams.
