KARACHI: On Thursday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 18540.09 with a positive change of 145.97 and volume of 36,577,650 shares.
High and Low were 18547.97 and 18382.29 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 69,093,410 shares with 257 total traded companies out of which 164 were up, 82 were down and 11 were unchanged.
Construction and Materials (Cement) was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 24,168,900 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 10,263,400 shares.
The three top traded companies were Maple Leaf Cement with a volume of 15,075,000 and price per share of 19.16 ( 0.80), Engro Corporation with a volume 6,366,500 of price per share of 136.70 (2.12), Wateen Telecom Ltd with a volume 5,392,500 of price per share of 4.35 (0.21).
The top three advancers were Clariant PaK. with price per share of 263.91 (12.56), National Foods with price per share of 344.00 (12.00) and Murree Brewery share of 241.23 (11.48).
The top three decliners were Unilever Food XD with price per share of 4332.00 (-228.00), Sanofi-Aventis XD with price per share of 427.98 (-22.52) and Bhanero Tex. price per share of 286.33 (-15.06).
