KARACHI: The last batch of 249 Pakistani troops arrived here on Friday after successful completion of the task performed to restore peace, order and rehabilitation of infrastructure in their area of responsibility under the aegis of the United Nations in DR Congo.
This was announced in a statement of the ISPR issued here on Friday.
Brigadier Rashid Ahmed welcomed the troops on their arrival at the Quaid-e-Azam International Airport.
It was pointed out that Pakistan is one of the largest troops contributing countries in United Nations Peace Missions and has earned a high degree of respect as proficient and dedicated blue helmets working for the cause of global peace.
