German Defence Minister calls on Gen Wynne

RAWALPINDI: German Federal Minister of Defence, Dr Thomas de Maiziere called on Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committ

xxx66 RAWALPINDI: German Federal Minister of Defence, Dr Thomas de Maiziere called on Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Khalid Shameem Wynne here on Thursday.

He remained with the Chairman for sometimes and discussed matters related to mutual interests between the two countries.

According to an ISPR press release issued here, the present visit of Dr Thomas de Maiziere is a sequel to an ongoing exchange of high powered visits from both the countries as the corollary to CJCSC visit to Germany in Nov 2012.
