ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested five persons and recovered a total of 118 liquor bottles, around 1.270 kilogram opium, 250 gram opium and one pistol from their possession, a police source claimed on Tuesday. CIA police nabbed a bootlegger identified as Qaisar for possessing 72 liquor bottles while Margallah Police apprehended Imran Bhatti alias Mani for having 12 liquor bottles.
Shalimar Police arrested a foreign national Emmanuc for possessing 20 beer cans while Sabzi Mandi Police apprehended a woman drug-pusher Zubaida Bibi in possession of 1.150 kilogram hashish and 250 gram opium. Tarnol Police arrested Sajjd Hussain in possession of 30 bore pistol while 120 gram hashish was recovered from a person Saddam Hussain by Shehzad town police station. Meanwhile, 13 beggars were also arrested from different areas of the city.
