ISLAMABAD: A delegation of Charsadda and Kohistan flood affected areas led by Mehboob Ullah Jan, MNA and Jawad Jalal, met Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan at her National Assembly chamber here on Tuesday.
The delegation apprised the Minister about the devastation caused by the last year's floods and the problems of reconstruction and rehabilitation of the affected areas.
They demanded of the Minister for government's support and funds to help reconstruction and rehabilitation of the flood affected people.
The Minister said that government was fully aware of the issues the people were facing in flood affected areas specially Charsadda and Kohistan.She assured that the government was fully committed to resolve these problems.
