KARACHI: All Pakistan CNG Association (APA) Monday issued the closure schedule of CNG filling stations in Sindh including Karachi during night hours.
According to a news release issued here by the APA's Zonal Chairman (Sindh) Shabbir Sulemanjee, the association has agreed to close CNG filling station following short supply of natural gas due to annual repair and maintenance of Bhitshah gas field. It said that the decision was taken on the request of SSGC to reduce supply of gas by 15 to 20 percent to industries and CNG stations on volunteer basis.
The CNG stations will remain closed between 12 midnight to 06 a.m. on following dates: April 11 to 15, April 18 to 22, April 25 to 27. The Association said that it has made the changes in the schedule of closure to prevent any inconvenience to the general public and tried to reduce the closure hours.
