ISLAMABAD: The former Director General of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Javed Miandad has decided to give a thought to become the batting coach of the national team.
According to a private news channel, Miandad said it was not possible for him to immediately take up the responsibilities of a batting coach, but he would be able to give his services after some months.
Earlier, Pakistan cricket team skipper Shahid Afridi also appealed to Javed Miandad to hold responsibilities to coach the team in batting department, as national team could not showcase better performance in batting department throughout the World Cup event.
Afridi said that batting has always been an issue with the national team, adding there was an urgent need for the team to have a specific coach to work with them to improve their batting.
