LAHORE: The Lahore Stock Exchange on Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 6.85 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 3756.83 and closed at 3763.68 points.
The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 1.810 million shares to close against previous turnover of 5.758 million shares, showing a downward move of 3.947 million shares.
While, out of the total 95 active scrips, 30 moved up, 14 remained equal with 14 down value. Attock Refinery Limited, Engro Corporation Limited and Dawood Hercules Corporation were Major Gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs. 2.00, Rs. 1.70 and Rs. 1.20 respectively.
Muslim Commercial Bank Limited, Arif Habib Corporation and National Bank of Pakistan lost their per share value by Rs. 7.30, Re. 0.64 and Re. 0.47.
The Volume Leader of the day included NIB Bank Limited with 282,000 shares, Fauji Cement Company Limited with 268,000 shares and Byco Petroleum Pakistan with 237,500 shares.
