Will support army action against militants: Altaf Hussain

LONDON/KARACHI: Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement(MQM) Altaf Hussain on Sunday, called Malala a light of wisdom, and said that attack on her was an attack on the ideology of Pakistan.

Addressing the general workers convention meeting of the MQM on telephone Altaf Hussain asked the nation to decide whether it wanted a Quaid's Pakistan or a country plagued by Taliban.

He also hailed the religious scholars who have condemned the attack on Malala and issued religious decree (fatwa) against her attackers.

Calling Malala nation's daughter Altaf Hussain termed terrorists as inhuman and said his party would support an army action against the accused.

Altaf Hussain prayed for early recovery of Malala, Kainat and Shazia.
