Solar panels in walled city parks

LAHORE: Solar energy panels have been installed at all parks situated in Walled City, said DG Parks and Horticulture Authority Mohammad Mehmood.

Talking to APP on Tuesday, he said, keeping in view the current energy crisis in the country and hot weather, solar panels as an alternative source of energy have been installed in the parks.

He said the main purpose of these solar panels was to provide uninterrupted power supply and entertainment facilities to the people of the area.
