Industrial unit to address residents' grievance

LAHORE: Environment Protection Department (EPD) of the City District Government Lahore issued notice to an industrial unit in Mughalpura to redress grievances of the residents on Wednesday

According to EPD sources, Butt engineering works in Aziz Bhatti Town, Mughal Pura was working was causing heavy noise/vibration and residents had complained in this regard.

EPD issued directions to the owner under section 146-2 of the Punjab Local Government Ordinance-2001 to redress the grievance of residents otherwise the unit will be sealed.
