HONG KONG: Hong Kong shares slipped 1.51 percent in the morning session Tuesday, in line with global markets, after China said it would target slower growth this year.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index fell 320.77 points to 20,944.54. Turnover was HK$86.99 billion ($11.15 billion), with trade boosted by US-based insurer AIG's sale of a huge chunk of its stake in its Asia business, AIA.
