PPP, allies to retrieve country out of challenges; to win next elections: PM

MULTAN: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Saturday said Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and its allied parties besides retrieving the country out of various challenges would also win the next general elections on the basis of their performance.

The Prime Minister while addressing the elders and notables of the area here at the Circuit House said with the successful holding of Senate elections, in which the PPP has emerged as the largest party in the Upper House of Parliament, all conspiracies to derail the government before Senate elections have been foiled.
