On the advice of doctors of Sharif Medical City Hospital, more medical tests of the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif were conducted here Saturday, to determine his health condition. Nawaz accompanied by his personal physician, Dr. Mohammad Adnan reached the Sharif Medical City Hospital, where medical tests of the former premier were conducted. Nawaz remained there for over two hours where a team of medical experts also examined him.
Sources claimed that doctors are assessing the existing health condition of the former premier while his formal treatment will start in the light of results of medical reports. Dr Adnan is also in touch with Dr Lawrence in London and latest medical reports were conducted on his advice, the sources added. After medical checkup and tests, Nawaz returned to his Jati Umra residence, where he also held some meetings, the sources claimed.
It may be noted that the Supreme Court has granted bail to former premier Nawaz Sharif for six weeks against a surety bond of Rs5 million in a petition filed on medical grounds in Al-Azizia corruption reference; however, with a restriction that he cannot leave the country. Moreover, Federal Information and Broadcasting Minister Fawad Chaudhry Saturday took to twitter stating that it was fourth day of his release and still he was not admitted to a hospital.
Fawad asked whether the former premier Nawaz Sharif's primary concern was getting himself released from the prison or the last week of the bail granted to him is being awaited.
