Former presidents Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) have termed the unopposed election of the new office-bearers illegal and alleged that the Secretary General HCCI had violated the orders of the apex court.
In a statement here on Sunday, the former presidents HCCI Alhaj Muhammad Amin Khatri and Haji Muhammad Yaqoob said that under the directives of the apex court, the elections of the HCCI office-bearers were supposed to conduct on May 27, 2018 under Trade Organization Rules 2013 and on the supervision of the nominee of the apex court. By conduction of the election of the office-bearers, they said, the Secretary General HCCI did not follow the orders of the apex court and the election procedure under Rule-18 of the Trade Organization Rules 2013.
