The out-going Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif held a parting meeting with senior officers of various departments at his Model Town residence and thanked them for working with him as a team during past ten years. He also presented commendatory certificates to the officers who exhibited outstanding performance in their fields.
He said it was due to their hard work and tireless efforts that PML-N successfully achieved its goals. He paid tribute to the hard work and professional skills of officers. "You have worked hard and set new trends of honesty (though several of them are facing NAB inquires), he claimed the Punjab government has selflessly served the people in last five years and its initiatives for public healthcare will be written in golden words in the history. He said the officers have performed their duties in most appropriate way and people appreciate their performance; real progress can be witnessed in every city in Punjab including Lahore.
