Khushal Khan Khattak University Karak in collaboration with media house Islamabad organized a five days' workshop for the capacity building of the local journalists on sensitive and conflict reporting. One of the purposes of the workshop was to create good working relationship between the working journalists and the students of journalism of KKKUK. Senior journalist and resource person Fakhar Kakakhel sensitized the participants about the reporting on sensitive and conflict issues.
The other resource persons Assistant Professors of Gomal University and KKKUK Zeshan and Wajhat Kareem also briefed the journalists on the use of modern digital media equipment and stressed on them that the modern journalists would be equipped with the digital gadgets.
While addressing to the concluding ceremony of the workshop held here on Saturday at the Karak press club former Chairman of Journalism and Mass Communication department of University of Peshawar and director Media House Islamabad Professor Dr Shah Jehan Syed said that they were trying to prepare the working journalists for carrying out their professional responsibility in better way.
