The Lahore High Court on Friday called reply from interior ministry to explain whether former police inspector Abid Boxer was into custody by UAE police in a fraud case.
The court hearing the petition of father-in-law of Abid Boxer gave further time to submit reply. The petitioner Jaffar Rafi submitted that there was a strong apprehension that Pakistani police would kill Boxer in fake encounter after bringing him back to the country with the help of Interpol.
