Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central leader Shafqat Mahmood has accused the PML-N workers of destroying PTI banners and posters and warned that Shahbaz Sharif's administration will be responsible if any untoward incident happened. While addressing a press conference here on Saturday, he further warned the PML-N government to refrain from such tactics.
He said the PTI will hold a historic public gathering at the Minar-e-Pakistan on April 29 (today). "In connection with the public gathering, we will request the Motorway Police and other concerned authorities to make adequate arrangements for the event. The police are responsible for the security of the event," he added. He told the media that PTI Chairman Imran Khan will join the celebration at Minar-e-Pakistan on the eve of the event and he also urged the people of Lahore to join them as well. "For a long time, the nation desired for a change in the country which is about to come to a reality," he added.
According to him, Nawaz Sharif is a product of dictatorship and now he talks about ideology. In the past, everyone knew about Nawaz's corruption, but now the judiciary has changed and it has taken notice of his corrupt practices. Opposition leader Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed told media persons that the Deputy Commissioner Lahore is not giving them permission to acquire a plane from the flying club. "We have sent a written request, but the Deputy Commissioner is not attending my phone.
