Supreme Court gets eight percent more than last year's budget

The Supreme Court of Pakistan was budgeted Rs 1.9 billion, which is 8 percent more than the current fiscal year. The amount for grants, subsidies and write-off loans is 11 percent higher than the revised amount in the current year - from Rs 4.5 million to Rs 5 million. The employee related expenses, which include pay, pay of officers, pay of other staff, allowances, regular allowances (excluding TA) for 2018-19 are Rs 1.48 billion.
For Operating Expenses the budgeted amount is Rs 341 million, for Employees Retirement Benefits Rs 52 million, for Transfers Rs 2.1 million, for Physical Assets Rs 45 million and Repairs and Maintenance Rs 32.3 million. For Islamabad High Court the amount estimated for next financial year is Rs 527 million which include Rs 461 million as employee expenses.
