Dr Christopher Steel, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Director of the Office of Education in Pakistan, joined senior government officials and private energy sector representatives at the inauguration of the Energy Engineering Expo.
Organized by the USAID-funded US Pakistan Centre for Advanced Studies in Energy (USPCASE) at Arizona State University, the one-day exhibition showcased over 40 research projects on renewable energy, thermal energy, electrical energy, and energy policy, said a press release issued on Wednesday.
In addition, the US-Pakistan Centre for Advanced Studies in Water program which partners with the University of Utah also showcased its accomplishments over the last three years. Speaking at the forum, Dr Steel said that he is proud of the USPCASE accomplishments and the partnership developed between universities, industry and government.-PR
