The legal fraternity Thursday observed strike against the brutal incident of Zainab Ameen of Kasur and demanded resignation of Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif and provincial law minister Rana Sana Ullah.
The lawyers wore black ribbon and boycotted the courts' proceedings to express their anger against failure of the government and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits. The Lahore High Court Bar Association held its general house and termed Kasur incident 'brutal' and said that every sensible person is sad over Zainab's murder. The bar president also condemning the murder of two citizens during the protest said that the same police had killed the citizens in Model Town incident.
