The Government of Sindh will establish a business facilitation desk including a business registration portal in Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), said Chairperson Sindh Board of Investment (SBI), Naheed Memon. The desk will facilitate the registration of business with all the concerned provincial departments through the business registration portal with a single application, she said
She was talking to President KCCI, Muffassir Ata Malik and other members of the KCCI at the Karachi Chamber here on Thursday. Such type of more business registration desks will also be set up in the Sindh Revenue department and Sindh Board of Investment, she added.
The SBI chief pointed out that the decision with regard to the establishment of the business facilitation desk was taken under the "Ease of Doing Business" the World Bank supported project of the Sindh government which is being implemented by the Sindh Investment Climate Improvement Cell (SICIC).
The KCCI President lauded the step to establish the business facilitation desk and assured his full cooperation in this regard and said that it will help in registration of the businesses as well as in launching of new businesses.
