The Lahore district administration has made arrangements for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) and all concerned official have been directed to make the occasion eventful. On Thursday, in connection with the arrangements of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), Deputy Commissioner Lahore Sumair Ahmed Syed issued several directions to all Assistant Commissioners of the city. He directed them to ensure proper arrangements for student competitions of Qirat and Naat, and they should carry out a check of lighting arrangements in their jurisdiction areas.
Moreover, he directed the ACs to visit government hospitals, and distribute sweets and food among the patients. "They must also monitor the processions to be taken out in connection with Eid-Milad-ul-Nabi (SAW) and they will be focal persons at tehsil level. They should also ensure cleanliness of mosques and graveyards," he added.
