Murad Saeed launches ‘Hamsafar’ app to facilitate commuters

Minister of State for Communication Murad Saeed launched on Wednesday mobile app ‘Hamsafar’ aimed to facilitate commuters about traffic updates.

This app is developed in collaboration between National Highways Authority and Motorway Police. This will help commuter to get latest traffic updates, weather situation and road blockages.

Addressing the ceremony, the minister said that a pilot project will be started soon to test the construction of safe and better roads for passengers and road users's safety, local media reported. The minister said that the government was taking concrete steps to depoliticize and improve the working of state institutions for better governance.
