PMEX daily trading report

On Thursday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,022. The total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 4.41 billion and the number of lots traded was 11,816. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 1.81 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1.59 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 679.78 million, silver PKR 223.87 million, copper PKR 93.01 million and Brent crude oil PKR 5.59 million. In addition to this, in agricultural commodities, 5 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 2.00 million was also traded.
