Two people were killed and 12 others injured in separate road accidents in the city on Sunday. According to rescue sources, a 22 year old Murtaza was killed and Osama, 18 was injured when they were pillion riding a bike and unknown vehicle hit it on Mauripur Road near New Truck Stand. The body and injured were rushed to the Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK).
Separately, 35 years old unknown man was killed when a speedy vehicle hit him near the KPT Bridge in Qayyumabad area. The body was moved to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for an autopsy.
Meanwhile, 11 unknown people were injured when a CNG rickshaw overturned and fell into a Nalah due to over speeding in Hawksbay area.
The injured, identified as Meer Khan, son of Haji Suliman Khan; Zahid 10, son of Meer Khan; Nawab 22, son of Ghulam Nabi; Nadeem 19, son of Zabid; Nawaz 30, son of Daulat; Wali Muhammad 50, son of Haroon; Murad 23, son of Faqeer; Saeed 16, son of Doshanbe; Sajid 30, son of Juman Shah; Waseem 15, son of Fazal; Nawab 25, son of Hashim, were shifted to the CHK for treatment.
