In an attempt to move the lines of disable people towards mainstream society, the Special Education Department has chalked out an event ABILITIES EXPO 2017 with a view to provide a platform for special children to display their talent and knowledge. It is a fact that poverty, malnutrition and lack of proper medical care are the major causes of disability in the developing world and the Government of Sindh is fully aware of its responsibilities to cater to the needs of special people.
The organizing of ABILITIES EXPO 2017 is a step taken in the right direction to let the people know how much the Government cares for its special people. The event is a manifestation of the fact that special people are an integral part of any society where rights of humans are respected and discrimination of any sort is intolerable.
ABILITIES EXPO 2017 will go a long way in portraying the efforts of Special Education Department that special people need to be loved and cared for. This Expo is a first of its kind in Pakistan, as well as in this part of the world and would showcase the progress and prosperity of such people with a view to make them a part of an inclusive society. I wish the organizers of ABILITIES EXPO 2017 and Special Education Department success in their future endeavors.
