Deputy Commissioner Salman Ghani called on the delegation of District Bar Association headed by President Rana Ali Abbas Advocate including newly-elected office-bearers and other lawyers. ADCR Muhammad Shahid and other officers were also present on the occasion.
The DC welcomed the newly-elected office-bearers of District Bar Association and congratulated them on their victory. He said that the problems confronted to the lawyer community would be redressed on priority basis. He said that the role of Bar Association for the formation of positive public opinion, guidance for public institution and resolving the public issues could not be ignored and the district administration would extend every possible support for providing congenial atmosphere for performing the professional duties to the lawyer community.
He directed the officers concerned for improving the cleanliness system at District Courts besides making beautiful landscaping by PHA. He assured the close liaison and co-ordination between the district administration and District Bar Association and said that regular meetings would be scheduled to review the lawyers' problems. President District Bar Association Rana Ali Abbas thanked DC Salman Ghani and others officers of district administration and said that full co-operation from District Bar Association would be extended for the success of public welfare projects and beautification of the city.
