Girl drowns as father throws daughters in storm drain

A pitiless father on Friday threw his two daughters in nullah in Shakargarh. According to details, the incident took place in Deenpur Village when a driver Amjad took his eight-year-old daughter Maryam and ten-year-old Zainab outside for a ride and threw them in nullah.
Amjad's wife called him and asked about his arrival on which, he told his wife that he has hurled the daughters in nullah. The locals rescued the victims and shifted them to the hospital where Maryam lost her life whereas Zainab was referred to Lahore hospital for proper medical treatment.
Meanwhile, police detained the suspect and said that his mental condition is not good due to head injury.
Moreover, police have launched an investigation into the matter.
