Divisional Commissioner Momin Agha has said that the relevant staff should be imparted with quality and meaning full training to complete the task of population Census successfully so as population Census was an important national task which required transparency and high responsibilities.
He said this while presiding over a meeting to review the arrangements of population census in Faisalabad division. Director Local Govt Rai Wajid Ali, Assistant Census Commissioner Zahoor Ahmad, Census Assistant Fazal Elahi Samore, ACG Shafqatullah Mushtaq and other officers were present in the meeting. The Divisional Commissioner said that the staff of population census should be inculcated the entire process of enumeration and necessary rules & regulations so that they should be cleared to complete the registration of population without any ambiguity and any other issue.
The Commissioner assured the full administrative and departmental cooperation by the divisional and district administration for the process of population census and informed that the Deputy Commissioners of the four districts of the division had been directed to extend all out cooperation with the population census department.
Assistant Census Commissioner Zahoor Ahmad informed that the work of the population census would be started in Faisalabad division from 14th march, 2017 during first phase while the training of the staff would continue from 6th February to 5th March. Giving details of the schedule, he informed that material for census would be distributed among the staff on 14th March and house listing would be made from 15 to 17 March while population census would start from 18th March, 2017. He said that the every tehsil had been divided into circle and blocks and Circle Superintendents/Block Supervisors and enumerators would be deputed for completing the task.
