Presidential candidate of UBG for FPCCI Elections 2017, Zubair Tufail has demanded the government to cut the electricity and gas price. Speaking at a reception at the residence of Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan, he said additional cost of electricity and gas are a burden on industries.
Tufail said that the public awareness needed against K- electric and Federation will play its role in this regard. He said that the need to give equal attention to education and health for the development of our country. We will put pressure on the government to implement basic health and educational system.
Tufail said the CPEC will change the fate of the country; to take advantage of this transit we need to set the strategy. He said the business community rather than non-productive investment should focus on industries. GDP need to be set on 7 percent for which we are on our manifesto after the elections.
S M Muneer said that the measures were taken for the deep cuts in the financial burden bring about savings of Rupees 800 million in TDAP. Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan said that a long period required cleaning the mess, but the UBG under the leadership of S M Munir has restored dignity of the federation by cleaning the trash and even stains of corruption in two years. Haseeb said that it has taken two years of restless efforts to restore the lost confidence of the business community and UBG will not shake their confidence.
Former Senator Ilyas Ahmed Bilor said that the candidates of UBG have the potentials of dealing with challenges. The UBG after vast majority on December 30 will look forward the major issues. He said that S M Munir is patriotic Pakistani who has the desire of prosperous and economically stable country.
Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig said that the election campaign is in final round and the dedicated team of UBG is believed on the outcome of the election. He said the candidates of UBG are like a vase and after the mandate will uphold the Federation's prestige under the group's leadership.
