Plastic pipe & fitting sector investment: Swiss company shows keen interest: SBI

Sarplast, a Switzerland-based company famous in manufacturing of Glass-Fibre reinforced Plastic (GRP), pipes and fittings, has shown keen interest to invest in plastic pipe and fitting sector in Sindh. This was observed in a meeting of Chief Executive Officer of Sarplast, Giuseppe Gotti with Director Administration, Sindh Board of Investment (SBI), Ibrar Ahmed Sheikh on Friday.
They held discussion on investment in joint venture with the local companies in the field of Glass-Fibre reinforced Plastic pipes and fitting. The representatives of Pakistan-based companies and officials of the SBI also attended the meeting. Addressing the meeting, Giuseppe Gotti briefed about the participants regarding demand and consumption of the produce of his company across the world. He said that his company is interested to invest in projects of joint venture with the local companies. Ibrar Sheikh welcomed the suggestion of the Swiss company and said that possible cooperation will be provided to their company in this regard.-PR
