Daily trading report of PMEX

On Wednesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,987. The total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 15.89 billion and the number of lots traded was 30,248. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 10.60 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 3.36 billion, crude oil PKR 1.52 billion, silver PKR 360.02 million, copper PKR 39.28 million and cotton PKR 3.23 million. In addition to this, in agricultural commodities, 31,935 lots of red chilli amounting to PKR 5.79 million were also traded.
