The country's total liquid foreign exchange reserves declined by $36 million during last week. According to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) weekly report issued Thursday, Pakistan's total liquid foreign exchange reserves stood at $24.153 billion on November 4, 2016 compared to $24.189 billion on October 28, 2016. The decrease in the reserves was due to payments on account of external debt servicing.
Reserves held by the SBP decreased by $54.6 million to $19.13 billion at the end of last week. Banks' reserves stood at $5.77 billion, up $18.7 million in a week, the report said.
