Faisal Raza Abidi gets bail

The local court on Thursday accepted the bail plea of former Senator of PPP Faisal Raza Abidi in illegal weapons possession case. During the hearing, Faisal Raza Abidi's lawyer submitted license of weapons before district and Session Court judge and on this the court accepted bail of the accused on 50,000 surety bond.
A case for possessing illegal weapons has been filed against Abidi at the Sachal police station. According to investigative officials, five different kinds of illegally possessed weapons were recovered from his residence in Karachi. Abidi was arrested from his residence in New Rizvia Society during a late night raid on Friday.
