Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (Smeda) in collaboration with Centre for Neutral Works (CNW) is arranging International Conference on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Opportunities for local business. The conference will be held on November 19 in Lahore and in this regard necessary arrangements are being finalized.
Sources in Smeda told Business Recorder on Thursday that CPEC was game changer for global trade. In order to attain maximum benefits from the opportunities, an insight on local dynamics and update on the development status along with first hand information on the opportunities for local and international businesses is extremely important for private businesses and international institutions.
The conference will act as a platform for development organisations, donors, experts, government department and business community to interact and share their knowledge on how to reap maximum benefit from this multi dollar undertaking. It will also provide valuable opportunity for developing networking with important national and international stakeholders. It is expected that a large number of members of business community from across the country especially major business hubs including Sialkot will attend the International Conference on CPEC Opportunities for local businesses, sources added.
