Dr Khurram Tariq, the CEO Kay & Emms (Pvt) Ltd, has been elected as Chairman, while Hamid Rashid CEO S M Textile and Muhammad Idrees Pansota, Director Lyallpur Fashions as Vice Chairmen of Millat Industrial Estate Association(MIEA) for two years term (2016-18).
This was decided in Annual General Meeting of Millat Industrial Estate Association (MIEA) in which elections for the period 2016-18 were held and results of the election has been announced for the next Governing Body. Hafiz Rabnawaz Director Irshad Collar Knitting elected as General Secretary.
Dr Khurram Tariq has served as Central Chairman of Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers Associations (PHMA), one of the largest textile trade bodies in Pakistan. He has been the former Chairman FPCCI (Punjab) Standing Committee on CSR. He has also served as advisor to Ministry of Commerce. It is for the second time he has been elected as Chairman Millat Industrial Estate Association (MIEA), Faisalabad.
Newly elected Chairman said that he would take steps for the welfare of the workers as well as improve the efficiency of the Association in all respect.
