LONDON: Europe's main stock markets fell at the start of trading on Monday, with London's FTSE 100 benchmark index of leading shares down 0.61 percent to 5,698.76 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 dropped 0.88 percent to 6,454.54 points and the Paris CAC 40 shed 0.69 percent to 3,295.98.
